Marc de Montalembert Foundation

The Marc de Montalembert Foundation has been constituted on an initiative to promote the intercultural dialogue in the Mediterranean while at the same time providing scholarships to students and researchers delving in the historical aspects of Mediterranean tradition.
The activities of this foundation are housed in premises in the western part of the Medieval Town, within short distance from the fortification wall and the bastion of St. George. The premises comprise a delightful 2000 square meter garden harbouring two restored Ottoman constructions as well as modules connecting it to both the St. George fortification complex and the Church of Agios Markos (St. Marc).
